The Arnot Q Euro

Traditional Classic Cues made the Old Fashioned Way The Right
Way.
This cue, like all Arnot’s Cues, was crafted the
old fashioned way – thoroughly
seasoned wood, painstakingly accurate cuts, the best in modern adhesives
and the most precise hardware made. He combines the best
of the old “tried
and true” European tradition of wood working with the latest technology
of the industry. Like all master craftsmen from Europe; Arnot takes his
time. He knows that you cannot rush a cue and have it hold up for the long
run
(no pun intended :O). When it is done right you end up with the best cue
in the
world.
Having sold his first Arnot Q Custom Cue for a handsome profit,
Gerhardt was ready for a truly custom cue. He knew what to
expect with respect to
the hit,
playability and beauty; but now he wanted an exceptionally beautiful
cue. Gerhardt decided on eight very sharp Ivory Diamonds inlaid
into the Cocobolo
butt sleeve
and points.
These diamonds are so sharp they feather to absolute nothing.
Then we went on to add 32 Sterling Silver Inlays; 16 in the
Butt Sleeve and 16
in the
Double Black Linen Based Fiber Joint Material. These silver inlays
were bordered by
Sterling Silver Rings. Strong and gorgeous. Pure function coupled with
Silver sparkling against the black fiber – beautiful and eye
catching. The four Cocobolo points also feather to nothing as do all
of Arnot’s
points.
You don’t see rounded CNC points in an Arnot Q because
he knows that points are not only are beautiful but add a structural
element to the cue. The laminating
effect of the points helps to stabilize the beautiful Bird’s
Eye Maple (which has been accented to bring out the grain) and improve
the hit of the
cue. The cue hits the same regardless of orientation. Gerhardt went
on to order 2
Arnot Laminated Shafts with Ivory ferrules and Triangle tips. Arnot
included the Joint Protectors at no charge.
To complete the transaction
Gerhardt also ordered a Millennium Cue - Third Generation Arnot
Attack Jump/Break.
Touring Pro Hunter Lombardo
