This is the Interlocker Custom Cue featuring the InterlockerSplice™ by Arnot.

This is the first innovation in custom cues in over 50 years. Used by Arnot in his personal cues and the cues of some of his closest friends the interlocking points form a spline that crosses over the joint into the handle wood much like the “tongue and groove” splice seen in the finest hardwood floors. We all know how strong and how well that splice works because we have all seen it for many years. The Interlocker Splice joint is stronger than the Long Splice or the Short Splice. It is simply the best, strongest and most reliable of any splice known today. It utilizes the best of all worlds; the precision of the CNC milling machine and the joining technique of the Arnot Splice. No metal is used in this joint because of the weight issue and it also eliminates the variation in expansion rates between wood and steel that ultimately causes the failure seen in many cues. By using Arnot’s Fiberglass Threaded Rod all wood tenon movement is eliminated because Fiberglass does not shrink or expand as a result in changes in temperature or humidity. Just a Note: Almost all joint failures in two piece cues are at the “A” joint because of thin walls, shrinking and swelling wooden tenons, metal screw expansion and contraction, and the use of water based wood glue instead of epoxy glue. The Interlocker Splice™ joint eliminates ALL of these issues.
