Starting with 4x Bird's Eye Maple for the Forearms and Exotic Bloodwood for the four points and burtt sleeve I matched the cues perfectly. The Black with Red Specks genuine Irish Linen wrap touched it off nicely. This is a set of cues designed for a player - not just pretty cues to take up space in someone's collection or display case (although they are nice enough.)

Some cues are made to look pretty and some cues are made for the player. The bad thing about this is that the very same things that make a cue look pretty are the same things that make a cue weak and fragile.
