This cue was started with seasoned Birds Eye Maple and Seasoned Exotic Bocote. The Bird's Eye Maple chosen for this cue had been seasoning in my shop for over 6 years. It is highly figured and looks much better in person than these pictures show. The Bocote wood was also seasoned for 6 years and is also highly figured. The two pieces of wood complimented each other and the cue looks great. The Customer was well pleased when he picked up this cue in person.
