The Maltese Cross Matched Set of Pool Cues

First of all I want to mention that it has been a real pleasure working with Mr. Paul Bonge. We bounced ideas back and forth until we got it just right. The design was inspired by the Maltese Cross.

We started with wood that had been seasoning for over 10 years. Not that it is necessary for wood to rest that long but it certainly does not hurt anything.

We decided to start with Curly Maple for the Forearm and Handle. Ebony was selected for the points and butt sleeve. Three Zebrawood Rings framed the Butt Sleeve and Handle providing continuity from the Forearm to the Butt Sleeve. 2 Arrowheads were inlayed into each of the 8 points points and 8 groups of 4 Ivory Arrowheads were inlayed into the Butt Sleeve. An Ivory joint was chosen for the hit and elegance. Ivory Ferrules and Moori tips were used in the 2 shafts (TerminatorShaftT3™ ).
