Birdseye Maple with
Ebony Points Custom Cue
I stained each birds eye individually to accent
the grain and bring out the best of the wood. Four "V" Slots
were cut into the forearm and inlaid with Ebony. Eight channels
of ivory were inlaid into the butt and aligned with the four
Ebony points in the forearm. Four Silver rings were added to
the butt sleeve and matching silver rings were added to the joint
collars. |

Sailor's
Reward Blue Thunder Custom Cue
The Sailor's Reward is a special
custom cue made to fit Joshua A. Burns. It is a graduation
gift from his Dad. Josh entered
the US Navy in May 2001 and is scheduled to graduate in August
2001. His cue incorporates Navy colors. As the cue went through
the birthing process, I thought of it as the "Sailor's
Reward." Good Luck, Josh.

Purple Heart

I look at the Purple Heart Wood, the Black Leather Wrap, the Ivory Ring in the
Butt Sleeve and then I seen the Ivory Inlays and I find myself smiling. The little
Ivory (TriArcs) came out really great. This has been a fun cue. |

The Rosewood Curly
Maple 9 Point Custom Pool Cue
Starting with a piece of dimensionally stable Rosewood that had been seasoning
for over seven years In my air conditioned shop I inlayed three Curly Maple
points in the forearm and six Curly Maple points below the wrap area.
