Hello Arnie -- I just thought I'd send you off an email about the latest addition
to my cue collection. I own a lot of high-end cues, but this one is extra special.
I
received my Ivory Tower High-End Custom Cue a week or so ago and I just wanted
to wait to get back to you after I'd hit a couple of balls with it. I have
to say that the cue hits as well as the other two custom cues in my Cocobolo
Matched Set that I had already bought from you. I get great compliments about
the way the cue looks and it's an awesome looking cue.
When the raves
really come in is when I let people hit with it! And to tell the truth
I don't really like to have people handle my cues. I do it
though because I just want people to try your cues. I'm surprised
that I as well as your cues hit and look I don't see more of
them out here on the west coast. I am hooked and will probably
always play with the "Tower." The pictures
on your site really don't do the cue justice. I thank you again for the cue
of a lifetime. AC Barreras JR

Hi Arnot! I hope all is well with you and your business. I received my Lucky
Sevens Custom cue and wanted to let you know how happy I am with it. The day
I received my cues was the same day I'd been asked to fill an empty spot on
an 8-ball league. We arrived early to warm-up (well, maybe drink a little).
Before the league started I had two people ask me about my
cue and how attractive they thought it was. Never before had
that happened with any of my other custom made cues. I allowed
one of my friends to shoot a few balls with my new cue, after
which he smiled and said, "I won't miss a ball with this
cue." He
was extremely impressed with the way the cue played because of the T3 (stiff)
shaft. He was also impressed with the butt of my cue!
We spoke about
the inlay for about ten minutes and why I asked for that. On my first break
I put the eight ball right next to the right side pocket and the balls
were equally distributed throughout the table. I didn't make
a ball on the break but that changed the next night. I played
some 9-ball the next evening and had a blast. I put two balls
down on the first break but with the 9 on the edge of the right
corner. I did the same on the next break but put three down
on the break. I've had to adjust my game a bit with the playing
cue in that I'm not used to the stiffer shaft, but listened
to my friend (the one who said he wouldn't miss a ball with
your cue) and have found it less complicated to make difficult
shots with the stiffer shaft than adjusting for the flex (that's
a long story short).
I'm so sorry if, during the time
I waited for my cue, I became impatient. I'm so sorry if
you ever thought of me as an impatient customer. I'd like to
think of myself as "excited or inspired"! :) If ever
you feel that one of your customers become overly impatient,
give them my e-mail address and/or phone number, Mr. Wadsworth,
I mean that! I'll set them straight and convince them that
there's platinum at the end of the Wadsworth rainbow!
All
said, I feel you've expressed yourself and your business
extremely well and why I should be patient. I'm so unbelievably
pleased with my cue and the way it's turned out. The sevens
have sentimental value, in the first place. My 16th birthday
was on the 7th day of the 7th month of '77, hence the four
sevens. When I made my original order, I didn't request 16
little Ivory rectangles on the butt of the cue, but you did
that because you knew that made the cue more visually balanced
and appealing (artistic freedom in work). I didn't ask for
the wrap with 2 groups of 7 white rings to contrast with
the burgundy. I only asked for burgundy and you gave me more!
You
make custom cues an art by adjusting to their, genuine personal
wants! Let all know, be patient. It's worth the wait! I'm
now the one who's "patiently" waiting,
let me repeat, "patiently" waiting for the 8 Floating Points
Ebony/Birdseye Maple cue. You're cue is worth the wait, hands down!!
After ordering my cue, I viewed this cue and thought, "why didn't
I think of that design when making my custom order"!? [Click here
for Paul's comment on his newly-delivered Eight Floating Points.]
I
decided, last year, that if I was satisfied with my cues I would
purchase the "8 floating points" cue, assuming it
was still available. I now know it's my cue and can't hardly
wait to receive it. In the past I've not been too keen on ebony
related cues. You've proved that ebony floating points, by
your design, is something special and artistic. I mean that
in the sense that your floating point cues possess a look only
you can accomplish! That's the whole reason why I've been interested
in your cues for the last four years and have continued to have interest
in your cues for so long. Thank you, Arnot, for your cues and personal
touch in the making of them.
I'll continue to update you with
how people view my cues and how I feel about them. I'll also let
you know how I feel about my "8 Floating Points Ebony/Birdseye
Maple cue" (Big Smile that I can't wait to see it in my hands).
I do apologize for any impatience but thank you for being professional
and personal at the same time. I truly believe you love your job.
I believe you when you say, "If
it were easy everyone would be doing it." I'm pleased to know
it's not easy; that insures quality! Take care and hope to speak
with you soon.
Most Sincerely,
Paul E. Peters Vacaville, CA

Arnot - I have had my Matched Set of Curly Maple Cues for one year now. They
are great! I wanted to test them out for a while before I replied. They have
definitely exceeded my expectations. They are extremely well-made cues. They
have a great hit to them and look incredible. Thanks for a good job and a wonderful
cue -- David Boone

Arnie, I want you to know that I have never hit a more solid cue than my "Road
Warrior." I have hade a few cues in my life from Meucci to Helmstetter
but they don't compare to an "Arnot." The leather wrap is just an
added feature that I have always wanted. I like the feel of the wrap. This
is my Rolls Royce or my "Tux with an ATTITUDE." Thanks Arnie for
your devotion to the art of cue making and your friendship - Tim

Arnot, I have finally found a cue that I have found absolutely nothing wrong
with. My custom Starter Cue hits like no other cue I have ever used. You have
another very satisfied customer. I do have another question for you. I have
been given much advice on how to clean the shaft of the cue. I have been told
everything from household cleaners to special cleaning agents just for cues.
I need some advice on what to use when there is no one around that I trust
to clean it for me. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks again for a great
cue. Phillip Carter

I recently purchased an Arnot custom cue (Deluxe Blue Thunder), and its hit
is amazing. I have played with a lot of different custom cues but this is by
far the best I've ever owned. The hit is amazing. The cue is even more beautiful
in person than in the pictures. It turns everyone's head in the pool room.
The hit and appearance are unmatchable.

Hey Arnot, Just a little hello from Korea. I am liking this cue (Rosewood Starter
Cue w/Zebrawood) more and more every day. It hits true every time and trust
me I've been playing alot (two-four hours a day). It took a little while to
adjust because of the stiffness but now I'm better than before. I had been
playing with a Meucci power piston so I was used to flipping the cue ball with
a rubber band. Now my English is accurate and consistent resulting in far more
run-outs. Thanks again for building a playing cue. Eric Crisp
Hey Arnot, the
cue (Rosewood Starter Cue w/Zebrawood) plays very well. It's about time that
I find a cue that plays better than I do. Thanks! --Eric Crisp--

I just wanted to send this to you to thank you for Matched Set of custom cues.
The second time I played with my new set I took second in a tournament with some
pretty serious players. The shafts took a little time to get to used to as they
are really stiff. On the second day it was as I had played with the cues/shafts
from day one. I have played with a lot of other cues and will now play with these
exclusively, they are that comfortable. I got a lot of positive reaction from
the guys in the room I was playing in. Thanks again Arnot, the cues were everything
your site and testimonials stated. I highly recommend your cues to anyone regardless
of their abilities -- AC Barreras JR

I would like to thank you for a job exceptionally well done! You claim that "the
ROAD WARRIOR CUE is a custom cue for the professional player who is interested
in a "no frills" performance machine. This cue is unpretentious and
has a consistent and solid hit."
Although I've heard this all before
from other well known cue makers, you sir are the first to deliver a cue
that in my opinion not only meets but actually exceeds the
sales pitch. I've been a proud owner of my custom cue for almost
a year. I intentionally waited on sending this response because
I wanted to express my feelings of the cue after the "new" wore
off. Being a fan of exotic woods, I was immediately impressed
with the quality of the ebony and maple used in its construction.
I've probably owned close to 20 cues in my nearly 17-year search
for the right cue. I'm proud to say that the search is finally
over! My ROAD WARRIOR CUE is just that, mine (not for sale).
Anyone
looking for a quality cue should give ARNOT Q CUSTOM CUES
a try, you will be satisfied. My only warning to the future
ARNOT Q CUSTOM CUE owner is to select the design of your new
cue like you would a tattoo, make sure you will treasure it's
design for a lifetime. Why? Because once you start playing
with your new cue it will become a permanent part of your game
(you will want no other cue). Once again thanks for you dedication
to quality, I for one appreciate it. ----------- Wayne Jones

Arnot, In forty years of playing snooker and pool, I do not
believe that I have ever used a stick that felt better to
me and shot as well as this one. I can hardly wait for the
stock market to recover so that I can spend a ridiculous
amount of money on a fancy Arnot cue.

Arnot, I received the Cocobolo Road Player yesterday with
no problems. The cue looks great and I had a chance to use
it last night in our BCA League playoffs. The cue hit great
with excellent balance, feel, and control. The Moori tips
are a nice upgrade on the Terminator T3 shafts, my older
laminated shafts have water buffalo tips and don't play near
as well. At any rate I won 8 out of 10 on the matches with
quite a few run outs with a brand new cue so you can really
say that the Arnot cues are maximizing a players ability
to miss shots less often! Take care and keep the cues coming.
Thanks, Brandon

Arnot, this Terminator T3 shaft is great. I can't believe the way it plays.
I didn't think it was possible for a shaft to have this little deflection,
plus such a solid positive hit. I'll be ordering a couple more, very soon.

Hi Arnie It's been a while since I've written, but I just wanted to let you
know that I appreciate the stick you made for me more every time I shoot with
it (which is exclusively). It is more an extension of my arm than a stick,
and it's so well balanced that often I don't even realize I'm holding it whenever
I just happen to be standing around with it in my hand. Just happened to be
runnin' through my email addresses to clean'em up a little and realized it's
been some time since I wrote. If I ever come up with the money for another
stick (although I can't figure why I'd need one; want would be more apt), it'll
be an Arnot. Thank you for taking the time to make this thing I shoot with.
It is MY Arnot! It's a one of a kind, and (as you may remember from days gone
by) that ain't no jive. Finney

Hi Arnie, This is not a paid advertisement but simply an account of my experiences.
Finally had the time to chalk up the 'Rainbow' and it certainly lives up to
the "Pot of Gold At The End of Every Rainbow."
Everyone who sees
the cue is impressed and as a result many questions are asked. The main ingredient
for the serious players is functionality which impresses a lot of folks when
they stroke a few balls and notice a 'big difference' in the playability
and cue ball feedback or 'feel' with this cue. I believe this
is due to the solid joint design of the 3/8 radial pin to wood
shaft construction that makes the cue feel as a one piece design
that has a solid hit with a softer feel. Now when you 'couple'
that together with the laminated shaft and decorative laminated
butt what you get is a 'deadly point and shoot' weapon with unsurpassed playability.
So
for all those out there in 'cue cyberspace' who maybe considering an Arnot
cue consider this; you are at a serious disadvantage without this technology
and the craftsmanship that builds in the quality so that 'you can be all
that you can be'. Best regards Arnie and keep up the uncompromising quality
of your work!
